    I am thankful for a fabulous day at the beach with the family building sand castles, jumping waves with the little ones and seeing the look of suprise and delight on their faces when the waves hit, and scouring the beach for rocks for the kiddie's "rock collections."

    I'm thankful for DH! Today is his birthday and I'm SO GLAD he was born.

    (So that also makes me thankful to MIL for having him & raising him to be such a wonderful man!)

    The kiddies baked his favorite cake from scratch by themselves (with no measuring mishaps, even!) and he got a present he totally wasn't expecting. hehe. I even paid full price (gheesh, "full price" sounds so dirty on SC) but the look on his face was priceless, so it made me happy to make him happy.
