What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for such a wonderful friend I have! She helped me out today, and i'm so very greatful to her for that. So Thankful and greatful to my Dad who brought me toilet paper and Chicken today!

I have really wonderful friends and family!

I'm thankful to God for directing me to this site, and for helping me to find the resources to keep my fridge and freezer and cupboards stocked.
For example:
2% milk went up to $5.79 last week, and I was dismayed at the jump in price.
But yesterday, while in another store, the manager told me that they are introducting a new brand of milk, which is their regular brand under a different name, and the price is $4.99. That makes me happy, since I buy a big 4L jug every week to build up my health.
And also this week, I noticed that my studio has so many papers I can't get them all into binders and folders anymore. Then I 'happened' to visit the local classified ads website and found an Ad for 10 binders for only $3, and the lady delivered them for $2. Total cost: $5, and now I can get organized.
It's just one thing after another being provided at just the right time, and again, I give God thanks!

I am truly thankful for the many different types of love in my life.
For my husband who helped me to love myself, and how to love, and - most of all - to accept love; to my son for unconditional love, and my love for him is more than I ever believed possible.
For my five siblings, love which is familial - we may not always 'like' things each other do, etc. but the love is always, always there.
For my parents - both gone, but they taught me how important love in a family is, and that it takes may different paths.
For the love of friends, both real and virtual - because they help in many different ways to understand life and the world around me.

O man, I was just reading Nat's post above and I believe all of that as well, but what I am very thankful for today is that no guy ever did this for me, and also thankful that I wasn't the cosmetologist that he booked with

Thankful for the gift of life and the blessings and challenges each day brings. To be truthful, I would rather just have the blessings, but the
challenges are there for a reason.
