thankful that you all inspire me to keep on being poetic.
& I don't have to have another MRI until July!!!!!!
Sometimes hypothetical questions fill in the missing link,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Especially when they are the ones that really make us think,
You know you can be overtired, but can you be under-tired as well?
& if you are disgruntled were you ever just gruntled for a spell?
You can peel a carrot or peel a potato, but you needn’t peel a grape.
& how come we have masking, scotch & duct, but we don’t have Irish tape?
Outside it can be overcast, but is under-cast a consideration?
A plaque of honour is gratitude, but dental plaque condemnation,
You can be a “Miss” & you can miss a point & even miss your bus,
& when things seem to be “amiss”, you’ll have issues to discuss,
You can take a coffee break & you can also brake to give right of way,
& you can also write a letter at any time of day,
Sometimes we need to roll, as life is just a role,
& you needn’t take a poll, if you’re dancing round a pole,
Since it is the end of the week, there are those just feeling weak,
Is it true that you can peek to reach your highest peak?
& do you feel up the creek when you hear your bones go creak?
As you know you say good-bye in the form of bidding farewell,
Is there a term like bad-bye, if your time was less than swell?
If you shed the light, are you no longer in the dark?
& how come a lot can be a fateful thing & also a place to park?
It may be a good time to close & go & fold some clothes,
& leave these matters to the pros & end this little prose.

Thankful for the Gift of the Lord's supper and his gift of forgiveness for my sins, by his taking my place on the cross.

DH came home this afternoon. Went to see him in the hospital and was told I can bring him home. He has tons of new meds and needs to adjust diet. So many challenges ahead. We could really use some positive thoughts and prayers right now.

Wow...I'm blessed that my DH is safe at a conference, my friend flew to Toronto to bury her mom. I've been praying for her since she is so far from home..I work with a wonderful team who is there just like family when you need them the most.I'm thankful for SC as I feel like I come home and check in with the family even if it's to say Happy birthday, offer prayers. congrat a friend who won something or just say hi...God Bless you all for making my life richer.

I did feel sadness at losing one of my sweet little finches this week, they are so tiny and you never really know what has caused their death. However, I am grateful that I get to enjoy their funny antics as I still have so many of them. Right now they are all chirping up a storm trying to drowned out the 2 loud budgies!

I think the easier question would be, what am I not thankful for. Right now I'm thankful for my family, friends, great test results, another day as dreary as it may be outside. I just am thankful.

Miserable, cold, raw weather like we've been having in ON lately always makes me grateful for being able to provide a warm, dry shelter for myself.
I may be irritated by my neighbours being inconsiderately loud, aggravated by the motorcycles going by without mufflers and seemingly amplified tailpipes, and think I haven't got enough room in my closet of a condo...but knowing I have somewhere to sleep every night is a real blessing.
Also, while it might not seem like a big deal to some...OMG, do I looooove having in-suite laundry!! It's just a little stackable washer and dryer and a week's worth of laundry takes about eight loads...but I don't have to drag it up and down to a laundry room, and, if I felt like it, I could do it at four in the morning.

Today I am thankful for a very small victory over a former employer. It's a large national company.
They tried to rip me off for a week's pay. The dispute went as high as the CEO. I wasn't going to back down, after giving them many years of service. I knew I was in the right. They did too.
Got my pay Friday. Only took six months.Last edited by Shwa Girl; Fri, Apr 22nd, 2011 at 08:18 PM.

^ Congrats! Persistence pays off. Good for you for sticking to your guns!
I am thanking for holiday Fridays. No stores open. No expectation to go to work or to do anything I don't wanna do. Just free to hang with the family and enjoy the day. It's been awesome."Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle
