I am thanking for holiday Fridays. No stores open. No expectation to go to work or to do anything I don't wanna do. Just free to hang with the family and enjoy the day. It's been awesome.

Thankful that I do have " breathing room" now , meaning my life is not as hectic as it was when the 3 kids were babes. Now I have to try and remember just who I was before I was their Mom?? Letting go is a challenge.

Today I am thankful for a very small victory over a former employer. It's a large national company.

They tried to rip me off for a week's pay. The dispute went as high as the CEO. I wasn't going to back down, after giving them many years of service. I knew I was in the right. They did too.

Got my pay Friday. Only took six months.

Happy for you! (Don't you just dislike how they think they can do things like that!)

Thankful for all that I forget to give thanks for like a safe home, awesome kids, a loving and thoughtful BF....so life isn't perfect but, I'm starting to appreciate what I have and not what I don't have. Okay...off the soap box for me (for now).....

I work full time and part time. I am also taking courses too. This semester was rough for school. I did badly on my major assignment and thought the course was a failure. Failure for this course is a 69% average. Pass is 70% and higher.

I am thankful that I had the courage to ask for another chance at the assignment. I got a Yes!
Don't ask, don't get.
It get's better.
There was chunk of marks I forgot about. 5% here 10% there, and 15% in other places.
I am thankful that I worked my buns off and aced the small marks.
So, in the end, I won't fail.
A bad semester is lookin' o.k. after all.

thankfull my family will be with us on easter monday-except my son who will be at his job -gee i miss him since he got married-will try to bond with my daughter-in-law as i wish to be a super mother-in-law -not like mine -who isnt that great
