What are you thankful for today?

That I have full-time work for the next three days.

I am thankful that Thanksgiving was spread over 3 days here so that we saw nearly all the family. It is becoming more difficult as everybody gets
busier.
I am also thankful that I can still walk, despite the increasing pain.

Today, I'm thankful for seeing family this weekend and for arriving home safely after each trip. Hearing the news, several families lost loved ones to car accidents, shootings and natural causes.

I'm praying for the families who are dealing with loss that they will find peace in this difficult time.

Thankful that my check-up today was clear and I don't have to go back for 6 months. Also that our 4 hour trip there and back was safe.

When I woke up this morning, I got myself ready for the day at once, and got things done before I checked out the computer websites. It really made a positive difference in my routine. And this morning I immediately took 2 Tylenol gel-caps for pain, and they actually helped to numb my backache (bad discs acting up for the last few days), so I got lots of little things done and had a fairly productive day. I feel really good about that.
I just wish the pain from my crippling illness could be medicated as effectively.

I am thankful that Sunday is coming soon and I get to talk to my daughter that we put in treatment. It can't come soon enough for me. I am also grateful for all the support from my friends at SC as our family works through is issue.
