Thankful that even though my wrists, knees and FEET (!!!!) were hurting yesterday, my dh and I had a nice low key celebration of our 22nd wedding anniversary. I am even more thankful today that I a feeling better and will be enjoying a nice supper with my sweetheart tonight.

Today I am thankful I have the day off!

I am thankful that I have warm winter clothes to wear, especially as not everyone is fortunate enough to have these... today was better (it's just snowing, not cold) but it's been darned cold and wintry here which has made some of my daily walks less pleasant than I'd like. Thank goodness for a warm coat, toque, longjohns and giant boots!

Im thankful for my furnace is working in this freezing cold weather.Two years ago it broke in the middle of a cold snap & it was so awful.We had to get a new one as it couldnt be fixed.We are so lucky to be nice & warm when we have homeless out on the streets in this weather.They wont go to the shelters for different reasons,I think the teenagers dont like to be with older homeless because they get scared of them so they stay on the streets.So sad.Charity begins at home! The government should use our tax dollars to help the poor in Canada first before they send it to other countries.
