What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for being able to walk and move. Arthritis symptoms were in full force this morning, but I am grateful they have eased up and that I am able to move and walk more freely and relatively pain free.

I truly hate being a human barometer (arthritis seems to be harder to deal with when theres snow or rain in the horizon). But I am glad that the symptoms have eased up.

Thankful for the Forgiveness received during the Ash Wed. service at Church and now I pray for strength to be repentant throughout the Lenten Season leading to the joyous celebration at Easter.

Today I am thankful for the food I have to eat - lunch was leftovers that tasted just as good - if not better - than the day before, reminding me how lucky I am to be able to cook and to have a kitchen to cook in.

I'm also thankful for my physical health. I did an 8km walk today and saw a frail senior out with his walker, enjoying the day with me. I smiled and he commented on what a nice day it was for a walk, even if he couldn't go far. It made me so thankful that I can get around without having to think twice about it.

My dear daughter is having her birthday tomorrow (if labour was faster, we'd share a birthday!). So I am thankful for her - my first daughter, my little princess, my precious little girl, is turning 15 tomorrow and I am thankful for the wonderful young lady she has become.

thankful that I did NOT have to shovel the path before work, or clean the vehicle off either! We were expecting the storm of all storms and all that came was rain, lol!

Lucky you! We're getting a whole pile of snow as I speak and I'm about to go out and shovel it That said, I'm glad to see all of the grey slush and muck covered up with a layer of clean, white snow!

Today I'm also thankful that I got my errands run before the snow started flying. I don't have too much fun when I have to carry heavy groceries home on slippery sidewalks, so my planning was well worthwhile!

I'm thankful it's Friday! It's family movie night. I look forward to this night all week. Great time to re-charge the batteries.
