What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for blisters!

I went for a very, very, VERY long walk today and now I've got blisters. Which is ok, see, because it means that I'm in good health and I'm physically able to walk until I get blisters. I know too many people who would love to be in my blistery shoes walkin in the sunshine but are unable to because of health issues.

Yay for blisters and good health and sunshine and spring and all the robins I saw today while I gave myself blisters. LOL. Life is GOOD!

That my high risk pregnancy is going smoothly. Hubby and I just spent the afternoon at a free baby shower. My 13wk ultrasound is on Tuesday. I'm excited to finally see this little one.

So we got our first look at baby #1 this afternoon. We received 4 printed pictures. It was great to meet this little baby, about 6 1/4 inches in length. That goes to tell you these baby tickers are pretty off. I was following my baby book and it was more accurate.

I'm grateful, that I haven't touched the chocolate bar in the fridge, that is beckoning my name.

I am thankful for being back home. The trip to disneyworld was wonderful, and I have the blisters and happy children to prove it.

I totally agree with you - last week I spent 8 days walking through downtown disney, epcot, the magic kingdom twice, animal kingdom twice, and hollywood studios twice with the kids and am very thankful to be able to have spent hours walking kilometers with my dear children on their trip. There were moments when the pain was pretty bad on my knees and feet, but I am thankful I was able to bounce back and not ruin the kids trip. The kids had a fun filled trip, and I have the aching blistered feet to prove it.
