I'm thankful for so much. For being back on SC after a long absence. Being encouraged by all that people are
thankful. Being able to visit my dearest friend in the hospital.
Thankful for all the reps and comments.... Its a small thing we do for each other, but it makes me smile everytime I see and get them them. Also very thankful for the fireworks were gonna have tonight at my daddys house later this evening.

Thankful for my wonderful & caring friends who help me through the times that challenge me.
That the weather has finally turned and that the people in Alberta the and BC will be able to start the cleanup. That I am able to see sunshine and smell the flowers, and for all my SC friends, that they are safe this longweekend and enjoying the time with family and friends.
having the day off today.
My son is an amazing cook
So thankful my husband is a master of all trades. He spent the better part of two days resurrecting an old a/c to help this hot woman out!
bought my ticket to a weekend getaway.........
For husbands and grandchildren, and children everywhere. Dh took one of my grandsons Ryder out fishing yesterday at 4am, when they arrived home, the little guy (he just turned 6) was so excited, he couldn't wait to show me the 4 fish he caught. One of the trout was almost 5 pounds! Just to see the happiness of an experience like that on a childs face means the world to me. We all to often get caught up in adult situations and business we forget to stop and enjoy the little things in life.
I'm thankful for children, mine, yours and every child all over the world. They teach us to embrase the wonderful world of life and all it's experiences :)
I am thankful for the time I spend with my dear daddy. Life is very busy, with dh and dear kids and all the activity we do together, but having a few hours to spend with my daddy is priceless. We dont have to talk about serious stuff, doesnt have to be current events happening on the news, but the chit chat, laughs and just sitting together is awesome and just wonderful. Mom's been gone now for 7 years and there are days when I feel so down with not being able to pick up the phone to call her or pop over for a visit, so I relish the time I get to spend with my daddy.
I'm in a bit of a grump today so I've come to this thread to rearrange my priorities. lol. (works every time, by the way)
Today I am thankful for the cooler weather. 4 whole degrees cooler. Yay!
I am thankful for my kids and DH-- who tolerate my grumpy self and don't hold it against me. (I think?) lol.
I am thankful for being able to read--because a surprising number of people cannot read at all or cannot well enough and they miss so many wonderful adventures. Reading has kept me sane in this insufferable heat wave.
I am thankful for my good health when many others are in chronic pain or struggle with illnesses.
There. Now I feel a little less grumpy.
we are so blessed to be in the era of the internet, digital camera, cells, technology rules !!!!
