I am thankful that my darling hubby is celebrating Eid with his mom and family in Jordan. It has been well over 20 years since he celebrated Eid "back home" with his family, and I am thankful he gets to experience Eid with them. I hope he is having a great time with them all.

I'm thankful that my bf has found a job after months of unemployment. It has been a rough 4 months with only my income to support us. But knowing that in a few months once the car gets fixed and the bills are finally caught up things will be better for us. I'm also thankful for my 17 year old daughter's help yesterday while shopping. She cancelled her plans to come shopping with me and her brothers. Kelly knew our service dog was in crate rest after being stung by a bee and that I would need and extra set of hands. She manage to stop her autistic brother from having a melt down before I could. Made the shopping trip so much easier than it would of been if I was by myself.

I am thankful that in less than 10 days time my dh will be home. The kids and I miss him so much, and he misses being with us too (as much as he is enjoying his time with his mom & family.) I hope the last 9 days zoom by quick enough, I know the night before he gets home, I dont think Im gonna get much sleep.

For a certain good friend. I was in a bind yesterday because my son had an appointment in a different city and my bf needed the car to go to work in yet another city. I couldn't change the appointment as it was to get his braces tightened and I already changed it once and he was 2 weeks past the time he was suppose to go. Well my friend jumped in and lent me her car to take my son, she even watched my youngest son for me so I wouldn't have to find someone to watch him that could handle a child with ASD. It's so nice to have a good friend like her.

I'm thankful for 4 competent coworkers who make up for 1 incompetent one who isn't qualified to do is job. This is the only positive spin that I can put on an extremely frustrating work situation.

Thankful that my DH made it home from work. A bolt of lightening hit the telephone post he was next to. And then he walks in the door with a bag of empty beer cans for me. Do I hug him or strangle him?

I am thankful for the good weather this weekend - we are having a pow wow this weekend and I am thankful that the forecast is hot sunny weather. I love the music and dancing at the powwow, and am glad that I wont be working as a vendor and will be able to enjoy all the dancing and drumming.

I'm thankful that the last 2 days are over!!
I conducted 2 wedding rehearsals and 3 weddings in those 2 days...I'm exhausted, but only have
1 planning meeting today, and only 1 wedding each Saturday for the next month!
