    ...that I baked a gumdrop cake and it's in the freezer, carrot/choc chip cupcakes for our grandson, visited DD, SIL and grandson today, and bought fabric to sew 8 silver-grey placemats for DD's Christmas dinner.

    I love the silver/grey colour at Christmass, so very classic, especially when paired with turquoise! They were my Christmas colours the last time I put up a tree.

    I'm thankful to be able to come down to the warm weather in the winter months. Today I'm also especially thankful that I got a progress report for my youngest dd and it says she is really doing well and realizing her addictions are ruining her life!

    Thankful my BIL is doing relatively well after having a grand mal seizure Thursday (caused by scar tissue from his stroke in early summer) - he's out of the woods and home from the hospital, but his memory is gone again. Bless my amazing oldest sister who cares for him so lovingly!

    My husband is currently driving us to Regina. I have finger surgery and another medical procedure today at the hospital. My mom is with us. Depending on how things go, she'll either head home or stay with us for a few days to help care for baby Leo because my husband will be back to work. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly!
