That the school division office was open today.
I had received a letter regarding my exceptional drug status from the province on Friday. Upon reading it I realized that I could get my coverage amount increased by showing them how poor my earnings have been for the last four months. The school division was able to provide me with the missing paystub that I needed. Once the government processes the paperwork it will VERY likely save me money on my expensive monthly prescription.

Angela, that's great news - when I was in need of some very pricey prescriptions that were not on the formulary, I was able to get exceptional drug status so they were covered. Made a huge difference for us at the time since we didn't have private drug coverage.
I'm very thankful for my kind husband who went out just after a snowstorm to do some grocery shopping, despite his very hurt back after working hard all day. Big love!

I had a 24 hour gastro on Dec 24th and didnt know if i would be OK on Christmas day to celebrate with the family. So im thankful that i felt much much better and was able to join the family to celebrate Christmas.
Today im thankful for the fact that we made it through another Christmas with everyone.

Oh yes and im thankful that we didnt get hit hard with the ice storm like in southern Ontario. One time was enough. When the ice storm hit in 1998, we were evacuated by the Military and stayed in a shelter and then in someone`s home for approximately 3 weeks. It was such an awful feeling! Imagine no power, no heat, nada for 3 weeks!
