    This is a good topic. I love this topic. Firstly, I'm thankful to my mom that she cooks for me. Secondly, I'm thankful to my friends I can get help from them. Lastly, I'm also thankful for smartcanucks because I can find this topic on this site.

    Today I am grateful that my son received a new kidney Feb.11 and is doing well post op.The donor has passed on,but their thoughtfulness in signing up for the organ donor program is an act of generosity that speaks volumes about the person they were in life.

    That is totally awesome! Great to hear your son is doing well. I have to renew my health card soon, and, I actually decided a few weeks ago to fill out the donor form with it. So when I renew my health card I will also be a donor. (Letting them take whatever they need when I pass) It's stories like this that make me fully know I am making the right choice! Hope your son continues to do well in his recovery.
