even though I dread doing the backyard cleanup ( from doggy winter time poop ) I am thankful that I am physically able to get out there and do it. The weather is mild enough now, no more excuses!

I had Stockholm Syndrome after getting rescued from my abuser.
I'm thankful that now I'm on the road to recovery.

I am thankful that my sense of humour seems to remain in tact,
& I am also pretty thankful that we needent be exact,
I thankful for family & friends, of course that is a given,
& thankful for free spirits who know all about real livin',
Thankful for the dreamers who go big or just go home,
Thankful I never watch football, even under a dome,
I'm thankful that I am an OK cook, though I sometimes get complaints,
Thankful that the numbers sometimes come with paints,
Thankful for the times that I get to do major lollygagging,
& thankful that usually I keep it short when I resort to nagging,
Thankful for morning coffee to get myself into gear,
Thankful that most people really are sincere,
I am thankful for this & that & many random things,
& thankful to read the fine print, cause it always has some strings,
Thankfulness is a state of mind that will keep you grounded & content,
& be thankful if you do go slightly wrong, you can always just repent.
*This is a repost of a older poem. I am thankful that I have an empty china cabinet & now I can start putting things the way I want them to be. I have too much stuff.

LO was so sick last night that we lost track of the number of times he threw up. I'm thankful that he hasn't thrown up in hours. He isn't acting and feeling like himself yet, but I will take the improvement. Good thing we didn't have Easter plans.
edit: LO has thrown up again since I made this post. Dh had a stomach bug last week for 3 days. I'm hoping that I don't get this stomach bug, particularly since I am pregnant with the twins.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Apr 5th, 2015 at 07:23 PM.
