I am thankful that in this hot weather I have a roof over my head,a fan plugged in and cold drinks in the fridge. Knowing that many are not as fortunate and concerned for them.

Just reminiscing this morning over the sweet connections I've enjoyed with members on sc.
Today I tip my hat to one ( mrsb07 ) who has not been around since 2012, but I still have her in my thoughts.
She had mailed me an amusing postcard once and it was because she had empathy over some members trading poorly.
I had been shortchanged but personally she herself had nothing to do with it.
That's who mrsb07 is. Just a very kind soul .
This was the card she sent me.

Im thankful that the boys came over this morning, finished the patio, installed a new ceiling fan in the little TV room and took down the venetian blinds and hung curtains with grommets instead. Oh yeah and changed some lightbulbs! thats why we had kids! lol

I am grateful today for the wonderful weather, warmth, sun, scent of flowers. The singing of birds is very lacking, but this is a problem within the city limits.

As always on Canada Day, I'm thankful that we live here. Despite its issues, it's a far better place than many others.
