I am thankful that DW was able to avoid being hit by some moron who just pulled out in front of us without looking. When you go out you just never know...

Counting our blessings this Easter. It was 10 years ago on Easter Sunday that our brother died of a massive heart attack at 59. Two of my sisters will be joining us for our Easter luncheon and his name is sure to come up.

Thankful to have my whole family here this evening for Easter Supper (Ukrainian Easter). It was a lousy past year. Son was hospitalized twice last year, once for vomiting blood (bleeding ulcer) and the second time within 2 months for Bells Palsey. Hubby is ok and daughter and son-in-law are doing fine also. And me, im slowly losing my eyesioght. But im still thankful for the joys thyat life brings me.

What a lucky turn of events a downpour last night brought us! First of all our yellow daffodils are up keeping the crocuses company but even better was the bird droppings that were " crazy glued " to the hood of the vehicle were magically removed! I was about to take the thing in for a car wash in the early part of the weekend but often those bird droppings need to be soaked up and removed by hand and I was too lazy to do that.
Whoever said never put off till tomorrow what you could do today was just an anxious busy body....my way worked out better! ha haLast edited by walkonby; Mon, Apr 17th, 2023 at 02:00 PM.

@Skippy that's much better than having a brain scan and getting told there's nothing there. Bwahaha!! A Saturday funny!

On my walk today decided to check out a nearby stream that crosses through this area.
Was not disappointed as discovered a mallard duck and other birds in the water.Yet I was dumbfounded as to how at one time I managed to climb the banks with a kid in tow.
When I was out in the backyard I discovered that a robin was occupying a nest in our archway.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.
