There is a MIR (tearpad) WUB Asprin to get % off gas you buy. I don't know the details but I saw the tearpad in Zellers. May be worth looking into...
Thanks wl_pro. Someone will be getting a headache lol !
to save in gas my family tries and makes one trip out so we will go to costco, then saveon and ld and wm in the same day as they are all in the same area... that way we are not going multiple times in the same week to the same area.... we also bus alot so we got bus passes and that saves alot of money too!!
thanks for the info!!

If you are using transit make sure you save your passes and receipts for the tax credit.

I have 3 of the 10 cents a litre off gas rebates when you buy Aspirin for trade!
If you have a smart phone, you can download the Gas Buddy app- It tells you what the gas prices are at gas stations in your area. Sometimes there is quite a difference within a few blocks of each other.
A big gas saving tip people often forget is to keep your tires properly inflated! It can make a difference of up to 20% I've read.
This is not saving money directly on the gas... but get a Canadian Tire Options Mastercard... buy gas at CT and you get bonus CT money everytime you fill up. Plus you earn CT money on everything that you put on the card... groceries, books, food etc. It can add up quickly for you!!!!
Tip: If you are worried about paying at the end of the month, pay the purchase off as soon as you get home... do that instead of using debit and you get CT money on top of your purchase!
Another tip: At least a couple times a year, CT has gas on sale!!! Watch for ads or flyers and go fill up that day too!!!! Just expect lineups... though the one I go to actually organizes it and the line goes fast!!!
BTW:
I do not think you can redeem Canadian Tire money at the gas station. They are independant of the store and can only give it out... At least around here you can't, correct me if I am wrong!Quote:
You can use Canadian Tire money.
Just my 2 cents...
Thanks cbou - good post.
I did not know about the Husky + CAA deal.
Love to get the Canadian Tire flyer each week for the 6x,7x,8x,10x coupon for gas. These really add up in CT money, that we use instore.
I think the solution provided here at wikihow will help you to get out of this situation.:-)
