SDM SCOP Brag

I went to SDM today for 20X the points sale. It was a zoo. Went at 2pm and everything was picked over and crazy. I got almost everything on my list and a few not on my list. So I checked out and got in my car and checked over my receipt. I had bought the box of All Bran bars regular $11.99 on sale for $7.99 and the box of Allen's Juice drink boxes regular $8.99 on sale for 4.99. But my receipt shows the regular prices. So I head back in the store and wait in line. She does a refund for $20 on my visa. Rings them though again. Charges me $12. I pay. For some reason I had it in my mind that SDM didn't do SCOP. The lady behind me pipes up that oh no I'm getting those things for free! The cashier says you are right. Refunds me the $12. So $20 worth of stuff free!!! I have done SCOP other stores but I really didn't think that SDM did it. Thanked the lady behind me tons. She said ALWAYS ALWAYS try.

With all the money I saved I'm going to buy the songs for japan from itunes!

That was great that the lady behind you said something but the cashier should have known that it was SCOP and did it automatically when you came back for a price adjustment!

I too got my first SCOP at SDM yesterday. The Cheese rang in at $5.99 instead of 44.99. When I pointed it out to the cashier, she went and go the sign telling me it was one that probably didn't get removed from the last sale and she would give it to me for the $4.99. I pointed out the May 13 date on the sign and she called her manager over. I asked the manager if they followed the SCOP and she check her watch (9:45 AM) telling me that the price change probably hadn't kicked in at the register yet. I asked again about SCOP and she said they would have to charge me $0.01 because they couldn't ring it up as free. I was happy with this as it was my first time. By the way, the cashier told me there was going to be a bonus redemption in two weeks.

yes, SDM does SCOP,..........and every participant store is suppoesed to have stickers on the front door & every till, stating so.

ex......Thrifty foods has cute little green hang tags at every till advertising they participate in SCOP.

Just back from SD young cashier
Sorry , I can only give you one mars bar .....no problem....handed it to my daughter..."you can go after me" smile..$20.00 in coupons...and wow I needed everything I got! Now, here comes April... and the lady behind me?? I warned her...she smiled..and said I know some sites you can go to for coupons...and I said..I know one site you can go to ...so, another SC newbie on the way .
