What is the best price you've seen on a larger container of hot chocolate? Where?

I'm so cheap I'd be hitting up the bulk barn for cocoa powder and powdered milk and playing til I got the right mixture.

My mother in law has a wonderful recipe for hot cocoa that includes sugar, cocoa, and powdered milk (as the previous poster mentioned) It's amazing! However if you don't like the thought of powdered milk you can use the recipe below.... we have and really enjoyed it.

    Borrowed from ehow

things you'll need:

    • 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder
    • 2 tbsp. water
    • 1 tbsp. sugar
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)

      • 1 Mix water, cocoa powder, and sugar in a small pot until smooth.

      • 2 Heat carefully until just simmering.

      • 3 Add milk and heat until hot.

      • 4 Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract, if desired.

We use Splenda in ours when we make it, and to be really icky I also add chocolate protein powder. Making it more like hot chocolate helps me get in my protein.
