New Walmart Supercentre

Just wanted to say that I found out Port Alberni is officially getting a Walmart Supercentre. There had been rumours of it floating around for a while but it was just confirmed to me. Our regular Walmart will be changing over to the Walmart Supercentre should be operational by Fall 2011!!!

I was told a few weeks back that they are doing this to the one in Nanaimo as well. It is already starting to change over from what I was told by the cashier!!! EXCITING!!!

i remember hearing a rumor that they were trying to turn most walmarts over into supercenters in canada.. maybe they are pushing towards that because many of the walmarts will eventually end up competing with targets when targets start opening their doors in 2012ish

hey can anyone tell me if the walmart in port alberni takes printables? also shoppers and safeway? i'm pretty sure the extra foods there does already. thanks
