Thanks for posting the video, I was going to get it but wasn't sure if you could refill the soap dispenser by hand or would have to buy refills, but now will definitely pick one up!

I've sent in 4 MIR's and haven't received payment for any of them yet...it's only been maybe 3 or 4 weeks?

Thanks for the video!! I was just thinking the other day of trying to refill it myself but wasn't sure if only a specific type of soap would work. DH was worried it would clog up. But I'm going to give it a try!! Because, seriously, if I have to spend so much money on refills it just won't be worth it, even if it was "free."

I personally souldn't have bought it if not for the MIR, but it's ok, I suppose. I don't have kids (funny, I thought it would be GREAT for children, but it seems not!!), I find it doesn't dispense enough soap, and it doesn't foam up much. I agree with another poster, I don't think it'll be around long. I would have tossed it if not for the lesson on how to refill, because the refills are pricey. Thanks for the tip!

I really like it, but I don't have kids at my house. I agree though, I wouldn't use it with kids...
I actually found that it dispenses TOO MUCH soap for my liking... But other than that I really love it! I have it in my kitchen and love how convenient it is, especially if I've been handling raw chicken etc and don't want to touch the soap pump!

I will be refilling mine with regular liquid soap not only because of the cost but also because of the fact that anti-bacterial soaps kill off the good bacteria along with the bad stuff. SoaP and hot water are the best route to go. I did think when I began using mine that it would be a bit of a nightmare to have one with small children....just too much fun for them to play with. Imonly bought it because of the MIR. I agree that this may be a non-starter for Lysol

Just refilled mine using this method much better than having to buy the refills and I don't even like the soap scents Lysol offers

I'm bumping this thread to ask...is it just mine, or does your dispenser react to the lights going on and off?
When I leave the room and turn the lights off, the thing dispenses...I turn the light back on wondering wtf?!...see a pile of soap on the counter...think to self that is strange...turn the light back off...hear it dispense AGAIN. Is mine posessed, or is it a common issue?
Please try this at home. I am very curious.

I find mine doesn't work correctly, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't work. The batteries are fresh in it. And I find that it puts out too much soap.
