Why do people need the no touch when your gonna wash any germs off anyway????
When I have noticed the soap dispenser acting up-drizzling soap-I have had to turn off the unit and remove soap partially covering the clear glass "eye" that receives the light beam. Or the soap spout is partially blocked. After attending to the two areas, I turn the unit back on and it works normally.
There is a new unit for the kitchen! Walmart (ON) flyer shows the higher dispensing spout on the unit and a lemon refill kit selling for $13.49 this week.
We love, love, love our unit!! With five kids, our bathroom constantly had soap scum and slimy soap bars. With this unit, our bathroom is clean and sleek. Plus, the kids use the right amount of soap each time opposed to draining the soap pump themselves daily. If only there was coupons for the refills. :-D
Ok... so up until now I've had no problems with my dispenser... Until tonight. I went into the wash room and the counter was COATED in soap :yikes: All around the sink and everything, it's like it emptied it's bowels of soap all over the place! LOL I turned it off. I may just throw it out...
See if changing the batteries makes a difference. Something is causing the device not to shutoff. Is the clear eye free of soap buildup?
Also, if you have the insert that came with the unit, read the troubleshooting tips for any solutions.
Metro's Ontario flyer for Mar. 16- April 12 (New Lower Prices) shows the soap unit for $9.99.
In the current flyer, Walmart has a soap unit with two soap refills at $12.97.
Canadian Tire (ON) flyer says 20% off selected Lysol products-one of the images is the hand soap dispenser unit. Check in-store if the soap refills are also on sale.
Re: dish soap to refill dispensers-one SCer posted that using Dawn works well in the unit. What other kinds of dish soap dispense well from the Lysol unit?
I notice that the No-Touch Kitchen System is usually sold with the lemon refill that can be used to do dishes; two other refills available are Berry Scent or Tangerine Scent. Has any SCer tried these refills and what are your thoughts?
I used the MIR too!
We are on the kitchen table. I like it, but I would like to lather a bit more. I would nothave purchased without the MIR, but like her. I agree that they need mines of a coupon and a sale price, but if they stop to people that use it.
Saw in Walmart yesterday that the Kitchen Lysol starter set is selling for $9.99 (pump and 2 soap units).
Fortino's is selling the kitchen soap refills for $4.99.
