ExpiredAs a newbie I asked several weeks ago how I coud track each train I was on without having to scroll through each of the threads and some having such similar titles I spent time looking through each of them to see if I was on "that one". This probably isn't new to some but for those wondering the same thing, I finally realized every train I'm on has a check mark on the right beside the title of the thread when you're scrolling through them. I hope this helps someone else.

I track mine through my "subscriptions" in the User CP! I file the subscriptions into categories, trains received, trains pending and trains I'm conducting! maybe that will help you too.

I bookmark the trains that i am on so i never have to search through the pages. It makes it super easy to check on the trains.

Up where my browser is on my computer i have a bookmarks tab. Any time I join i just add it to my bookmarks. If you don't have that on your computer you could also add each train to your favorites I hope this helps.

I will print out the thread when I have confirmation that I am a rider, and after the conductor has posted a rider order, I keep them in a file and update the info by hand. I do the same when I am a conductor as well. When the train is home and feedback is complete I shread the paper. I also make a note of when I joined the train, so if I need to see the op again I search by date of my pms. I also have an address book with the info of people I have traded with, also a short note of what was traded etc. This works well for me, but I'm sure everyone has their own system.

Another way to list all the threads you have posted in is to open up your profile by clicking at your username, then select "find all posts by your_username" from the Statistics tab.

I think I put the word "NEW" in 'newbie' .. I don't even know what a coupon train is! <sigh> Talk about starting from scratch.
