Do all our RCSS's allow coupon zone/mfc. stacks?

May be a dumb question but...

Do all our Winnipeg RCSS's allow you to stack a coupon zone coupon and a manufacturer coupon? Where have people had success?

I did it once on one item at RCSS McPhillips but...(a) I had a lot of stuff, (b) I had a lot of coupons and (c) my cashier seemed flustered and didn't really look over the coupons well.

Just wondering if it is permitted generally at all the stores in town.

I haven't had any problems before today. @ the st james superstore the cashier wouldn't let me use a store and a manufacturer at the same time. I protested and told her to ask her manager. she called customer service and the teenager came over and also said no. I told them I didn't want the product then.

I had the SAME issue at St. James. They even had corporate call them and tell them to take them! They are going to be getting a letter from me. This is very fustrating especially after you spend an hour in the store.

Okay, so St. James is a no due to hassle. Gosh it's annoying when stores decide to make their own rules!!! Glad to know there don't appear to be issues at the other locations.

I had issues at the gateway store with price matching and using a coupon zone coupon. Went through corporate and they had a phone meeting with the store manager who insisted they allow it and that he would train his staff. I haven't been back to test that out though... Kind of scared to try LOL

Hmm odd.

I have never had a problem at the Sargent location. Even did it before I joined SC.

Don't know if this makes a difference, but 99.9% of the time I go through the self check-out.

A couple of weeks ago they were training staff and the head cashier advised the trainees that both can be used on one product.

One thing that has happened is that they did not allow a coupon zone coupon on something that is already pink stickered (which makes sense to me).

I was told that u couldnt use a coupon zone coupon if u price match. when I asked her if she could ask the manger she said she talked to head office and they said no as well.

on Portage I have no problem using a coupon from the wall and a regular coupon.
I was told they don't price match with or without coupons.

My experience is at the Kenaston and Portage Ave location. I have done a coupon zone and manufacture coupon at the Kenaston location. At the Portage location I have price matched, and used a coupon on top of the price match. Everytime I want to price match I have the flyer with me. Also done the coupon zone with manufacture coupons many times.

Well I guess I have nothing new to add...but I can confirm that I have also had no troubles combining cz and manuf. at the Portage store...but that I was also denied just this afternoon at the St. James store. Actually...the checkout girl first put it through...but then the $6 for quantumatic put me over the manuf. limit and a supervisor had to come over-ride. When he came over she showed him all the Ziploc coupons and he pronounced that I could not combine. I didn't fight...but did mention that I'd done it at other stores and then had them take it all off. I do have the receipt with all the ziploc stuff added and then removed...perhaps I should scan it and email to head office?

I detest going to the st.james store. Its always so busy and a total hassle with virtually no pink triangles to be found. But...they have good produce from the high turnaround...where the Portage store is an absolute disgrace when it comes to produce. I hold my breath when I walk by the "discount" rack. YUCK!
