I went to my hubby's xmas party and there was with 5 family members at one table, one of them was getting a award for 40 yrs at the job, anyways the whole family brought there own Tupperware and filled it up after the buffet was over [just before the staff cleared everything, the wife also swore all through the dinner and all night,they do the same every year.

Every buffet that I've ever been to has donated the remains to a shelter for evening snacks. Usually that info is printed somewhere on the tickets or I've even seen a card near the plates.

Sadly, I used to work at a restaurant and can confirm that there are more of them out there.... there's a difference between thrifty and just plain tacky, you know?
