    Please refrain from posting web address shorteners/ad revenue sites such as and ad.fly unfortunately a lot of times they are being used to hide affiliate and referral links.

    Links posted using any type of shortener will be removed. Without notice. Further actions will be taken on members who repeatedly ignore this post.

    Boo is aware of this and has agreed to this decision.

    For real I noticed one member doing this ALL the time they should be permabanned since they contribute nothing to SC from what I could see in their messaging history.

    they shorten links and allow you to track where the clicks are coming from. some redirect you to an ad before letting you go to the intended site. i think it's a great decision to ban these kinds of links. they can be directing people to malware and you won't know until it's too late

    thanks for the explaination--I have clicked on this type of link before but did not know what it was called or how to explain it properly------and yes, banning this type of link is a good thing!
