Newbie from Toronto

Hi everyone. My name is Pam and I'm new to couponing. I started collecting my coupons about a month and a half ago and this month, very nervously, jumped in. I think I've had a great month as I've saved $48.00 so far and went through the flyers today to match up to same great sales with my exisiting coupons, so I hope to increase that number on Saturday.

I've set up a coupon binder and I'm learning fast that the key is to be REALLY well organized!

I would like to ask a question about the new Walmart coupon policy. I've read the threads on this as well as Walmart's policy, and I hope I'm right in assuming this is a Canada-wide policy. Is that right? I was just in the store earlier this week and inquired about using one of my coupons and was asked if it exceeded the price of the product - which it didn't. I got the feeling if it had I wouldn't have been able to use it.

I'm going to print out their policy and hope for the best.

Yes it is Canada wide but they are already starting to get fed up with people coming in and emptying shelves of trial sizes to get overage which may be why they asked

If you are near downtown Toronto, there are a large group of SCers that meet monthly to coupon swap, the next one is on the 27th or you can check the GTA forum (under local tab) for details for later ones
