Hi my name is Phoebe and I admit to really not knowing much about couponing. I use a coupon when its there hanging on the shelf of something I want to purchase. Any help and advice would be so appreciated. I live in Saskatchewan so if you know of any ways to save money here that would be great. Also I dont really know the rules of couponing like how many per purchase and if you can use a coupon on an item thats on sale. Also would my safeway card work in alberta and bc cause i like to shop when camping. Does tide ever go on sale and are there coupons for desodorant. Should I make a coupon binder? Do all coupons have expirery dates? Do you need a coupon for each item? Which stores dont like to take coupons and where can i order coupons?

Ok Thank you for any info that you can offer me sorry for having so many questions.
Have a great day!

Hi and welcome. Wow, lots of questions
I'll help with some. Your safeway card will work anywhere, even in the States. If you forget your card, just give them your phone number, that'll work. There are 4 main sites for ordering coupons. www.brandsaver.ca, www.save.ca, www.websaver.ca and www.gocoupons.ca There is a time limit to reorder but with the gocoupons you can order once a week. You can use coupons on sale items, it's the best time to use them. Tide does go on sale and there are coupons for it also. You'll learn a lot more and very quickly. Just keep reading different posts on this site. It has so much info. You can also always ask any questions and someone will have the answer. People here are very friendly.

Thankyou I just ordered the coupons from those sites. Do you have a couponing book and if so how do you organize it?

I do have a binder. I use those plastic inserts that are made for baseball card collectors. It works well. I have them sorted by subject, such as beverages, breakfast foods, dairy, pharmacy, laundry, etc. I started with a small accordian type coupon folder from the dollar store but it quickly became too small. Although sometimes I still use it. I'll put my shopping list and the coupons I'll be using in it but still bring my binder along in case I find an unadvertised special. If you can't find a coupon for some of your favorite products you can always try emailing them and asking if they have coupons. Many companies are very generous that way. SC Johnson is one that will always send a good coupon. I got a coupon for any free item of theirs up to an $11 dollar value. Also since you are in Saskatchewan you can stack coupons at London Drugs. I'm not the best one to explain that to you as I'm in Ontario but there is a lot of info on stacking at London Drugs on this site.

Oh Excellent! Thank you so much! Yes I am interested in coupon stacking. I kind of understand it, sort of. I have been reading a lot of the posts on this site and have sent emails to get coupons from ziplock bags and heinz been so far.
Thank you!

Welcome Phoebe.
About your question on Tide going on sale.
When Walmart has their anniversary sale at the end of Sept. - Oct., Tide is usually on sale there.
For the last few years, I have seen the other stores jump on board when Walmart has their anniversary sale and Tide shows up at great prices then.
Hope that helps.
