So, I managed to get 8.50 off a bag of huggies (pull ups) but am new to this aspect..... I learned that you could use the diaper coupons on the pullups which is neat. However, I haven't shopped for diapers or the like in a very very very long time. For all you old hands at this.... can you tell me what combinations you are doing at LD? Do you/can you ever get them for free? How??? teach me! :shrug:
My stacks that I use for diapers changes each time depending on the coupons I am able to get a hold of and the cost of the diapers at the time I am able to purchase them. My best advice is to try to do trades to get diaper coupons (also have your friends sign up at Pampers, Huggies, Brandsaver.ca, etc so they can have diaper coupons mailed to them then have them give them to you.) Call the manufacturers to see if they will mail out some coupons. Decent Pampers coupons come out in the Brandsaver insert and on Brandsaver.ca (including extras on hidden brandsaver links.....see the SC post on websaver/save.ca/brandsaver thread). Huggies coupons periodically come out in the Smart Source inserts....these usually have a quick expiry date.
An example of a stack I recently did:
Pampers 2/$26.99 plus 2 packages of sensitive wipes $4.99 x 2 = $36.97
* $4 off Pampers diapers and wipes (brandsaver insert) x 2
* $4 off Pampers diapers and wipes (brandsaver.ca) x 2
* $2 off Pampers diapers (brandsaver insert) x 2
* $2 off Pampers diapers (brandsaver.ca) x 2
* $1 off Pampers wipes (brandsaver insert) x 2
* $1 off Pampers wipes (brandsaver.ca) x 2
* $1 off Pampers sensitive wipes (hidden brandsaver.ca) x 2
* $5 off Manufacturer mail out coupon
* $2 off Manufacturer mail out coupon
Total Cost of 2 packages of diapers and 2 tubs of wipes (before coupons): $36.97
Total Coupons: $37.00
Actual cost: FREE (plus tax)
Try to wait for the LD sale on diapers (or PM to other sales....although now you can only PM 1 item). Keep in mind that you will always have the cost of tax.
