Printable coupons

What stores dont give you grief about printable coupons and which ones do?

From what I've read, it's highly inconsistent. Walmart has taken them from me, and that seems to be most people's experience.

Apparently the Sobeys and Loblaw family of stores will not generally accept them.

Other stores, such as Canadian Tire, Metro etc very hit and miss. One way that many people are successful is by usnig the self-serve check outs. I think the cashier still has to verify the coupons but apparently it can make the process easier.

I even noticed on the recent McCains Potatoes printable that it has a disclaimer when you print it (not verbatim but close):
Certain retailers may not accept internet printed coupons. To increase the likelihood this coupon will be accepted, print it in colour.
