Hi everyone...I have a couple high value coupons that I'd like to use at Walmart with their flyer. When I go to pay for my items, will my coupons automatically give value back to the rest of my order? Ok, I know that makes no sense.

    Example:

$7 off Glade. I buy Glade for $1. Will the remaining $6 just automatically be credited to the rest of my items or will I need to say something? I'm very new at this and this will be my first "big" shop and I'm worried that I will get overwhelmed and miss something. I don't want to waste my awesome coupons!

Are u using a $7 off any or is it product specific ? The policy says overages are paid out but you have to make sure sizes and stiff is completely correct

It's $7 off any. The coupon I mentioned isn't actually for Glade...I can't remember which ones, but it can be used for 1 product from any of 5 or so brands. Glade just happened to pop into my mind.

Good luck! I'd recommend printing off the coupon policy and taking it with you. Hopefully you won't need it- but I have already found it necessary to pull out and show to the cashier. When I went shopping on Friday, the cashier had no idea that the coupon should apply to the basket price! She was like, 'Wow, just learned something new!'

Your lucky you got one that wanted to learn as some clamp their lips together like you were going to try to slide the coupon past their teeth. You all know that look come on admit it. Some cashiers think you just robbed them sort of legally
