The other day I was at LD on the Stony Plain RD and there were 2 girls and a guy stacking at customer service. I was buying some bodywash but am too shy to go up to people and ask them if they are on here, but I love seeing other couponers!

I was the same way until I saw someone here using a small photo album to put coupons in. I started getting everything organized before I went and then I could flip the pages as I go I got so sick of going so often, since its time consuming, and this method really made things so so so so simple. I even label the stacks so I know what the cost should be and how much in coupons I have. It sound a bit nuts but its way less complicated in the end and the cashiers love it, not to mention I am not fumbling for coupons like I used to.

I use a small photo album as well that is bursting with coupons already. I think my problem is I am not organized before I go shopping, but I do have my stacks paperclipped all together before I go to the till so its easier for the cashiers. I know I will get a better system in time and be able to buy more. Plus I only live about a 15 minute walk from that LD so its a nice walk for me.

Sorry to clarify I use the small album specifically for my shopping trip, I have a separate binder for other things I have to ask, did the cashier make you pay for your cosmetic purchase in the cosmetics section? They made me do that last time and i was so confused as to why...lol

Its great exercise, I live close too

I was price matching maybelline mascara from the rexall flyer - and I asked prior to grabbing them if they would price match 2 for me and she said she would and said you can either pay at cosmetics or at CS. I just figured it would be easier to do at cosmetics but it turned out not to be because the girl at cosmetics told me I could not stack 2 coupons after I had price matched it (which I did the day before). She ended up having to go ask the manager. It honestly would have been easier just to go to cutomer service as I think the manager rang me through. Oh well, I was still able to stack so no harm.

Just goes to show you how important' cashier-profiling' or choosing the right line up is to hassle free check outs! Being organized, choosing the right time of day( some stores will even accommodate your big shopping trips, if you call ahead) and the right cashier, can make or break your entire trip!

Thats exactly what happened to me, and to be honest it really made no sense...

Unfortunately I have to profile, since I have had cashiers that have admitted they cant process coupons very well so don't goto them, haha. They have to learn at some point...
