can we use coupon on gift pack ?

there is a gift pack of olay in walmart which includes olay body wash lotion and a bar soap can we use olay coupon 2$ off when we buy any olay product together with olay 5 $ off when we buy any 2 olay product ?? as this pack contains more than 1 product ??????

No you cannot, in that case.

As a general rule around here, I think we've all mostly agreed that one barcode means it's all one product, in the same way you wouldn't be able to use 12 coupons on a 12-pack of pop cans, even though every can has a barcode.

There may be two items in the package, but bundling them together and giving them a single scannable barcode makes them into one item again.

You can certainly use the $2 off of 1 olay product, though, IMO. Provided that the basket contains only body cleansers, lotions or face cleansers, you should have no hassle.

Stores see the gift basket as one purchase so the $5 when you buy 2 will not work.

and if they have 2 different products as another gift pack contain venus proskin and olay body wash what about them ?

So two products that don't have a coupon applicable to both? I think that's up to the discretion of the management which coupon they'd let you use, if at all.

A possible way to help them choose which coupon to accept on the basket might be to have them scan it, sometimes the item might be named something like proskin gift pack, olay w/ bonus proskin or something.
