Really??? That is awesome news!!! Woot!! Woot!!
I've been in contact with my local SOF manager (here in AB) and I thought it was coming down the line to the stores, but no confirmation as of last week when I spoke to him again about it.
This is SO exciting--I used to be a SOF cashier and their training is intense and when there was policy changes we were all expected to learn them and managers were very good at implementing hands-on training until cashiers got it right. So unlike WM where the manager comes over and does the key thing and the override and doesn't tell the cashier (who is totally in the dark about coupons or what or why they're doing it) but just says "there's a new coupon policy now" and walks away...that would not happen at save on!!!
I think if they try it they will get it right! That's why I'm so excited about it!!!!
Thanks for sharing--I think I have to call my manager tomorrow

WOW!!!! I am in Langley but would totally go to Abbotsford to grocery shop if it were only Save on at this time. So much saving potential.

Is it the one off Sumas Way...in Abby village? I heard they were building another one off Whatcom Rd. as well, so would love to know which one. Also...I'd be curious to know what 'wording' they will allow (ie..not to be combined with any other offer/coupon??'). Hope they expand this to other stores before the one store gets flooded with couponers like what happened at the WalMart in Langley...hope they have lots of stock as well...yikes.

Yes, I'd also love to know what the conditions are re: the stacking.
Some may think it needs to be a hush hush because of WM in Langley, but the majority of us want to follow the rules so they have a positve experience and it can continue and move on/spread. Positive will only help it spread.

At the Sumas one. Apparently the only thing is that the total value of the coupons can't exceed the price - must be the same or lower. A friend of mine has already been and she said her cashier had to confirm it with another cashier but other than that it all went smoothly

So...what about the wording on the coupons...what is and isn't stackable is what I am wondering....some of it is obvious, but I am wondering about the phrases that are open for interpretation aka - loopholes.

Opps, that wasn't very clear... yes, they won't adjust the value....So if the product is $1.99 they won't let you use two $1 coupons
If anyone else takes advantage of the new policy, let us know how it goes.
I hate holding up the line when cashiers don't know what they are doing
