Yesterday I spoke by to phone with Elim who works for 7-Eleven Canada (ph: 604-586-1632)

I called to inquire as to whether flyers would be coming out on Vancouver Island and across BC, as I heard they were coming out in Ontario. She stated they are only sending flyers out to people who live around 7-11 stores that are not doing very well, to encourage people to go shop there. She also indicated they could not afford to give away free items to everyone.

I told her I thought it was strange that people who are regular customers of 7-11 are not rewarded for their patronage but that people who never go to 7-11 get rewarded instead.

Thank you for calling, and that's very true! I thought 7-11 was supposed to be doing a slurpee rewards program like they have in the USA but I guess that's STILL not up and running.
