I'm very upset with this whole mess. This was my first train and I know none of my coupons had expired. I feel that I was taken advantage of! I PM her many time to get a response and was told nothing. My question is when do we state to give a rating to her. Personally this was a very negative experience for me. I have done private trade since then and I had no problems. As for trains I not sure if I will try them again.

Could someone let me know about the timing for ratings. If she has been taking advantage of everyone then her rating is the only way to warn other people.

Personally I have already rated her. And I know a few others have too!! But please don't let this wreck your train experiences. Trains are great. This kind of thing doesn't happen often at all. I have done about 20 trains and have never had any problems... This is not a common problem

I've also left a rating already, regardless of whether our envelopes arrive or not a negative rating will reflect my experience. I don't intend to give up trains either ... I know the honest people out weigh the dishonest on this site.

She's running a lot of trains. Maybe she just got overloaded and it wasn't intentional to scam us. I could see how it would be hard to keep everything straight if you weren't highly organized. With the postal strike on now, it's unlikely we'll see anything for a while - if ever.

I totally agree with the above post! She was rather new to the trains and I *think* got caught up in the idea of having all these trains running b/c so many "newbies" wanted to get on (all of her trains were for riders with a low trade rating). <-- I also don't think she intentionally chose newbies, her ratings were low as well. With all the envelopes flowing in, I will assume that it would become overwhelming, especially if there is more on your plate than "trains". I don't honestly think she had any intentions of doing this to anyone.

I guess this brings to mind since I've seen alot of new trains posted in the last week ... should a "rule" be put in place for who and when a SCer can operate their own train? Should they have to ride a train first or have a certain trade rating prior to doing a train? Just some thoughts to put out there?

When this whole situation first surfaced I was very angry and upset, not just for me but for everyone involved with this specific person. When I sent her any emails trying to get a response I didn't make any accusations, just kindly requested she take the time to make this situation right, not for her trade rating but for her own piece of mind. It must be a horrible feeling to know that you've done this many people wrong ... and she must be feeling that or she wouldn't be trying to fix it. I received my envelope from her yesterday and was very surprised to see that the cpns appeared to be as they were sent from the other riders. I again think they are all sitting there and she is trying to piece the trains back together. Hold onto hope, she is obviously trying, as she has already sent some back.
