Hello,
I'm a pretty new couponer on the island. Just wondering if anyone has been able to stack outside of London Drugs. I have seen some encouraging talk re: save on foods lately...
Thanks! This thread is currently associated with: London Drugs, Save on Foods

You really just have to look into each coupon policy. Save on Foods is really good. London Drugs can be a little grumpy (Both downtown and Tillicum). If you are unsure just ask at the customer service counter at any store and they'll let you know. I wish one of them would do double coupon days!!! They'd be so popular hey!

Safeway allows you to stack up to two coupons you have to have one Manufactures coupon and a second one to be allowed to stack. I have a good buddy who is a manager at the saanich sof and they are just starting this week to get the staff up to snuff on their new policy

Thats great news! I usually shop at the duncan LD's and they are very good with stacking but my grocery bill is still too high. I will head into town and check out save on's and safeway.
MissFranco did you do the pharmasave double coupon day? I think they're supposed to do another in Sept... Would be awsome if somewhere like safeway would do it too!

I went to pharmasave for the last double coupon day, and it was great. I had only just started couponing so I didn't even have very many coupons, but I got some absolutely amazing deals..I thinK I just stared at my stuff in shock for awhile when I got home, lol. I can't wait till they do another one...sept? I will start putting aside coupons right now! and I agree, it would be terrific if other stores would do double coupon days..maybe as couponing becomes more and more popular, stores will start doing that here like they do in the US. Some people think that as couponing gets more and more popular it will get harder to use them, but I have hope that it will actually get easier, as stores might start to see the value in trying to attract couponers. It makes good business sense for them!

Yay, I stacked at SOF today !! The staff were very friendly... hadn't been trained on stacking yet but after talking to them for a few minutes one lady remembered an e-mail in regards to stacking and let me do it as per the e-mail.
I bought $33 worth of dog food for $2.57. Wooohoooo

Awesome, I live right near that one! I still call it town & country too, lol. I refuse to call it uptown, it sounds so pretentious!

Does anyone use the "e-direct" coupons at Safeway? I was using one this week for Olay (at 50% off) and wanted to use a P&G coupon also ($2 off) .... but the Fort and Foul Bay Safeway said I couldn't use both.... I looked at it as a "store special" and a manufacturers coupon and I should have been able to use both but they were quite adamant.

I stacked at Save On Foods this weekend. Staff were not trained, but the person at customer service said the cashiers could call her over if they had any questions. I stacked Charmin and Oasis juice. So happy that there will be food items that we can stack for now!
