This certainly isn't free but its a super deal to me....

I went to my local Co-op today and found tear pads with $1 off coupons for Nestle goodhost drink mixes . Then as I was looking around the store I found the smaller nestea iced tea mix on for 2 for $8.98 for 1 Kg and they had 50 cent peelies on them. Now normally I buy the 2.3 kilo when they go on sale for 8.98-ish. During the off season that size can be as much as 12.99 and we drink it quite often.
My mind immediately went to stacking those peelies withe new found coupons but I didn't think they'd go for than but still a dollar off each can with the coupons saving the 50 cent ones for later was still a better deal than the 2.3 kg at sale price...2kg for 6.98. woo hoo I was happy with that.

At the checkout the cashier asked if I wanted to use the peelies and I explained that I'd save them because $1 off coupon is better and she said...... Oh I love her for this......"you can use both." !!!! WOW YAY So 2 kg of ice tea mix for $5.98

I have no expectations that they'll let me do it again. Or that any other cashier or co-op store would allow it but it made me happy today.

Except when I looked at my receipt, she got all the coupons entered but then neglected to enter the ice tea and I had to go across town again to pay for it. LOL S'ok I'll live!

WOW!! WTG! And kudos to the cashier too!! Always helps when you get great customer service. I have been really lucky lately all my cashier's have been really nice!
