I just completed an order for around $47.00 on Amazon.ca however I still getting charged around $25.00 for shipping. Why is that?I thought if its over 25 purchase you get free shipping?

depends if your items were eligible for the free shipping...
there are items that are from different suppliers.
For some items, you'd see "this item ships for FREE with Super Saver Shipping".Earn FREE PRIZES, Paypal$, Gift Cards with SWAGBUCKS by searching!

it depends on where the items are being shipped from/what you have ordered.. amazon.ca sells items from their store but they also list items for other stores (many not in canada) for example the watches amazon.ca lists are technically not amazon.ca stock they are shipped/sold by a different company.. there are two fairly easy ways to tell if the item is being sold by amazon...if it doesn't offer the "free super savings" shipping listed beside the sale price, and right above the add to cart button it would say "Sold by random name here" they are not amazon.ca stock and will end up costing you for shipping (and probably duty fees in that price too)

You have to be very careful with what you order on Amazon.ca Like the above poster mentioned, if it doesn't say "this item is shipped free" or whatever, then you will need to pay for shipping!

Cancel the order. You might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. Amazon.ca should say if the item qualifies for FREE SHIPPING during check out.
