I just went to Sobeys to see if they had anything on sale all they did was reduced it by $1, so I think I'll wait until it goes down alot more than that and until then I guess I'll just have to eat the kids candy(hopefully they don't notice).

Went to Walmart - all Halloween size packaged candy, chocolate etc (even 32 count HotRods) 1/2 price!! All going fast - no chips at all when I went at 10am
Then on to Zellers - staff embarassed because Halloween Candy 1/2 off but chocolates etc only 30% .
Original prices about the same in both stores though.

Shoppers probably has some stuff on sale (they were starting to mark it down before Halloween anyways)
Don't you know they're lying when they're telling you it's been all right?

Shoppers in Kingston had bags of 30 mini-bars for $2.80. I think that there may also have been some extra optimum points if you buy them.

Last year one week after halloween all costumes at out Zehrs were 2.00 and candy was 75 percent off.
A great hint for ebayers.
Buy up the costumes that are more ''popular' liscensed charaters
and ebayers go crazy over them because there from the year before and not available anymore.

I actually bought a few halloween candy (lots of Oh Henry and Kit-Kat, and almost no kids came trick or treating)
And now that i compare the prices to the amount i paid... i almost got ripped off
But here, London Drugs has dramatically reduced their Halloween Candy!

Shoppers was almost out of candy, but costumes and bags etc are 75% off.
Save on foods has the bagged candy 50% off and some of the bulk candy on a good deal.. watch it though, some the bulk is 'on sale' 3cents off just so people will think 'Ooo! Halloween candy on sale!" and buy it!
