Thread: A small SDM brag

Over the past couple of months I've been really getting into couponing rather than just using one or two coupons here and there.
Today was just a small trip, but I think it is brag-worthy.
I bought:
4x colgate advance pro health toothpaste - 1.99 each - 4x1.50 coupons (found on a tearpad at sobey's last week)
3x gillette deodorant for hubby - 1.99 each - $5.00 wub3
Subtotal was $2.98 + 1.81 HST = $4.79 OOP
The lady behind me saw how little I was paying for those items and said "WOW you did well today!".
The cashier grumbled a little bit with the toothpaste coupons and at first said "I don't think these are for this toothpaste", but she read the whole thing and then accepted them. So far this is the first time I've had anyone question a coupon ... it was at the SDM in South Ajax (on Bayly I thrink).This thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart
