No Frills flyers always say they will for items on the front page.
Canadian Tire supposedly pricematches too.

Yes they do!
Lowest Prices! Guaranteed
We work very hard to make sure you get the best value for your dollar, everyday, checking our competitors and lowering our prices in the rare cases where we find we are not competitive on our everyday low price. To back that up, we promise that you won't pay less on an advertised product anywhere else. If you should find that another store in your area has the item at a lower advertised price, simply bring in the ad and we will gladly match it, PLUS we'll give you an extra 10% off for bringing it to our attention.
One cashier yesterday refused my price match however, saying that the item had to be an "everyday" price and not a sale item so I will be getting in touch with head office again (coupon issues last time lol).
It clearly says a lower "advertised price" and "bring in the ad". Stores rarely put regularly priced items in flyers so that logic doesn't make much sense to me.

i agree Ashling. they should not make stuff up as they go. RCSS seems to do that. thanks for the info. i dont go there much but once i'm back working downtown will for sure check it out.

Head office emailed me back and agreed that yes, ANY advertised item can be pricematched and that she was getting in touch with the stores manager. The cashier did not look very happy to see me in the store a few days later though .
I live and work in the downtown area so that's the only place around, by foot anyways.
Don't forget it the next time you're going there!

I've never tried ... does SDM pricematch. they have a Dove package on for Mothers day. they are $3 more than RCSS and Rexall and Rexall wouldn't accept my coupon for $2 off any 2 products as they claimed they had to be individual products.. and Zellers never received the Mothers day package..I was going to try tomorrow. do I dare??

RCSS does price match items on the front page of the weekly flyer and necessity items (bread, milk, butter, eggs, etc) despite being on the front page of the flyer or not
