I suggest Little Big Planet to anyone who hasn't tried it yet(everyone) or infamous (adults)

The free games are out now.

You need to have had a PSN ID for either your PS3 or PSP or both.

Made on or before April 2011.

Then you can download your selections based on you platform.

Yes you can double dip and download 2 free games for you PSP and PS3 i you own both.

I did.

Enjoy there are a lot of people doing this now so expect errors but just use the back button and retry till you get what you want.

1.) The free games you get exclusively from PLUS are ONLY good if you keep your membership (excluding the games mentioned in the original posts for the 'welcome back' program)

2.) (and perhaps more importantly) -- if you do NOT want to pay for PLUS, be sure and configure it to NOT autmotically renew, or you will be charged the full subscription after the 30-day trial.

also, beware when purchasing. the set up is a little confusing. you have to select the "free game 1" option. then BUY something called "free game 1" and THEN you can pick the game you want same for free game 2.

i got infamous and now little big planet. takes a super long time to download.

If you go look for yourself, it specifically says that unlike a normal plus membership, the free trial will not automatically renew. And I'm 99% sure you can keep the games after, since they will be saved on your hard drive.

I would advise getting the plus trial today if you can cause there are a few games it said you can only download until june 7: sonic the hedgehog 2, oddworld abes oddysey, and comet crash. Makes me wonder if they have new free stuff each week though, I'll have to check regularly. If anyone wants to add me on the ps3 network my name is 'muggos' maybe we can have a game of little big planet sometime

Between the two of us, my husband and I own 95% of the "freebies" already which really sucks. Basically, we got shafted on this deal. They need to be offering a lot more, because die-hard gamers already have majority of those games.

And we already pay for PLUS so to get 1 month free is ridiculous. It's been down for more than 1 month so hubby is getting screwed out of his money.

That does sound like a bum deal! I only owned infamous already, but even then I was thinking thanks sony for making my disc completely worthless... before the freebies it would have been resellable but now who would buy it? I am 'lucky' though only owning one of them. Maybe if you talk to sony they will give you something else, they're already predicting losses of 3.2 billion dollars this year so what do they care anymore

Actually... the reimbursement for Plus memberships is as follows...
- 30 days free PlayStation Plus membership for non PlayStation Plus subscribers.
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an additional 60 days of free subscription.

So you're getting 2-months free, not one. So no, you're not getting screwed.
