Perfect Day! Double Coupon Day, still Cancer free, and I love the Humane Society
Today has been an awesome day!
It's hot out. Got up this morning to go to the Dr. and decided I really need to find a pair of shorts. In the past year, I have lost 140 lbs so I have zilch for summer clothes. Dig through my closet and find one lonely pair of size 3 denim walking shorts in the back of the closet with the tags still on. Try 'em on and they fit!! Head to the oncologist to get the results of my battery of tests(I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last August...check your boobies ladies!)...still Cancer free. Yay me!
The lovely lady at the Humane Society calls me.....they get all the leftover papers to line the pens but they cannot use the inserts and she has tons for me! Pick them up and there are hundreds! Mom and my MIL drop off FPCs for Sense and Spray!
I then decided I would walk to CO-OP for Double Coupon Day. It's 10km from my house but I had knee surgery a month ago(unfortunate Roller Derby accident) and walking is good for me. I raid my h's wallet, take a 20.00 and four quarters(just in case I ever need to use a payphone), put on my backpack, grab my coupons, and I off I go. I bought way more than I had planned, had to call for a ride home because I had too much, and had a moment of panic because I didn't take my bank card.
