I couldn't find any local threads on this. I was at Walmart today and was told that they will only accept printed coupons if the website of where it is printed from is on it. They were scammed a bunch of times with fraudulent ones and it is totally understandable.
I was totally excited thinking I could get a Quantamatic starter kit for free... as they are now marked down to $6 and I had a $6 off coupon.

I know I used some printed coupons at the South Supercentre a couple weeks ago. The Wal Mart Canada coupon policy doesn't say anything about having to have the website on it. I can't remember what site I got this from so I'll just copy the whole thing.

    Walmart Canada Coupon Policy
The following represents guidelines shared with our stores to facilitate coupon handling
    .

coupon is accepted only if store carries the item

must be presented at the time of purchase

    only Canadian coupons are accepted

the item purchased must match the item presented on the coupon. (identical in size, quantity, brand, style, flavour,
    color and /
or any other specs used to identify the product on the coupon)

Expiration date must be present & be redeemed prior to the expiration

Types of coupons accepted by Walmart Canada:
    Print-at-home internet coupons:

    o
    must be legible

    o
must have "Manufacturer Coupon" printed on them

    o
have have a valid name & Canadian remit address

    o
must have a valid expiration date

    o
must have a scannable bar code

    o
can be buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons

    o
are acceptable in black, white or color

    Manufacturer's coupons

    o
    dollar/cents off

    o
    free items

    o
buy one get one free (BOGO)

    o
    has "Manufacturer Coupon" printed

    o
    must have valid name

    o
    must have valid expiration date

    o
must have a scannable bar code

    Competitors coupons qualify if:

    o
    issued by a Canadian competitor

    o
for a specific item for a specified price i.e. $2.99

    o
buy one, get one free (BOGO) coupons for items with a specified price

    o
they have a valid expiration date

    o
and are acceptable in black, white or color

    # of coupons that can be used for each item
only one acceptable coupon may be presented for each purchased item within a transaction

store managers reserve the right to limit quantities where multiple coupons are being used for multiple purchases of
    the same
    item

When coupon value exceeds the price of the item:
the excess amount can be given as cash or can be applied toward the basket purchase , at the customer's choice

Free merchandise with a coupon (BOGO)
no sales tax is applied on the free merchandise
Hoping the information provided adds some clarity. I remain,

    Respectfully,

It was at the South Super Centre. She had a stack of printed coupons that they were not to accept, and said that going forward that this would be there new policy. I told her that I had not had any problems in the past and that to my knowledge this was not their policy. She told me that they were not to accept anything printed unless it showed somewhere on the sheet which website it was printed from.
She informed me that they were stung with quite a few fraudulent coupons and are now very leary about what to accept.

I have have found two Walmart cashiers in the past week, even when using brandsaver coupons, to give me attitude about having to take them! You would think it was coming out of that cashier's own pocket! I was at the East store myself.

I used a Livingwell.ca coupon at Walmart south on Monday night without a problem. Sounds like the cashier is making up their own rules!

I was at Walmart last Sunday and they would not take my Ziploc Coupon. The customer service rep said it was a photocopy and it was not. So I just didn't by the ziplock bags.

I used 37 coupons on Friday night at North Wal-Mart and almost half of them were printed and cut out so didn't have the website at the top. I had no problems...

I PM to the Zeller's Quadramatic had the flyer and two printed coupons and they gave me $1.02 back. I went to customer service though...so maybe that made a difference? She didn't say anything to me about not taking printed coupons unless it didn't have an expiry date.

This was yesterday at the East store.

Take a copy of the policy to the store with you, unless the company states a new policy, a store can not make up their own I believe. This is what I do!! Hope it helps!

I tried to use the $4 wub 2 ziplock at the south store today and he would not accept it, although I did use a couple $2 Olay on a couple travel items, priced at $2 and $1.47 and the CS told him to put them through no problem.

    hi
I had the same issue last Sunday at Walmart in Toronto -Kennedy& Warden
I had used printed coupons on Friday with no issue.
I came back on sunday to PM the advil $ 2.99 then with coupon $.99and Coppertone sunscreen lotion $5.99 then with coupon 4.99 I tried to use my printed coupon but they refused . I paid for the items as needed them that day .I even went to customer service and was told that they no longer accept printed coupons.
Did anybody had the same issue this week at that store ?
