I don't understand this. The post was made May 21. It ended the same day.
Now two months later on July 22 it is still active!!! What gives?
We are getting posts in a thread that ended two months ago? Why isn't this deleted?
Are we going to keep it for two years?? DOH!!!!!!!

Dear Coppertone Fans,

This is a notice to all of you who filled out the form for the free Coppertone Tote bag.

ALL THE BAGS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT.

Nevertheless, it has come to our attention that some of you have not received their bag. Please note that because of the Canada Post strike, some of the deliveries might have been delayed, so please be patient, it should arrive soon. Here are some of the other possible reasons why you may not have received your bag:

- One or more fields were empty or incomplete when the form was submitted

- The age you entered was under the legal age of maturity in your province of residence

- Invalid information was submitted for one or more fields (ex.: invalid phone number, postal code, etc.)

- Abusively repetitive entries were removed

- Entry not submitted correctly or was submitted after the offer has ended. All bags were given on May 20th and 21st; your entry form must have been submitted completely and correctly while quantities lasted.

- Change of address. We can confirm that all Tote Bags were shipped as of May 25th to the addresses that were entered in the registration form. We will be unable to complete deliveries where a change has occurred.

Unfortunately, we cannot make any corrections or changes to the forms that were submitted.

But cheer up! The Coppertone Facebook page is the best place to be to find out about our latest offers and promotions!

Does this also apply to people who received a confirmation email stating that their info was correct and that they would be receiving the bag??? I still haven't received mine and I did get a confirmation email.

I also got a confirmation---but no bag yet--I am starting to wonder if I should consider the facebook comment the "so sorry--your not getting one!". Oh, well--my usual bad luck with these things.

It seems like there are A LOT of us who haven't received it, I doubt all of us had a brain fart moment and fudged our mailing addresses with the same freebie... Maybe it's the infamous CP's backlog mail's fault? I wish we could know what the real situation is with the backlog... I'm also still waiting on my NesQuik freebie, probably another couple I'm forgetting right now, so I'm thinking it's still bad.

Or maybe I gave a fake phone # as I do sometimes, but how would they know, would they actually bother calling everyone?!
