Last week at a yard sale, bought a Panasonic KXR320 electric typewriter for $3, appears to be working fine but don't have the ribbon to see if it works. I have to buy a set for $11 off ebay, can't seem to find them in Canada at all online.
Always wanted one to type up my envelopes or stuff.Last edited by kk008; Sat, May 21st, 2011 at 05:45 PM.

I thrift so much! And garage sale too, but I haven't got around that much this year yet.
Best garage sale find this year was peghooks for $1.50 for a big bundle.
Best thrift find... ahh there's too many. I get almost all my clothing (excluding underwear) from thrift stores. I guess my 'best' purchase was a $200 pair of Aldo boots for less than 10 cents.

Nice score on the Aldo boots Chantal. I just got a pair of Rockport dress shoes for work for .50 cents. I have not been to many sales this year and I feel like I am missing out. I like to thrift though, and my favourite store is in Salmon Arm - best prices since the old church thrift closed in Westsyde.

I heard from a very chatty lady last weekend that on fridays there's a church or something downtown that has rooms and rooms full of clothing and they do $2 bag sales. If somebody happens to find out anything more about that they should let us know! I'm not sure where it is because I've never been, but it sounds great.
