[QUOTE=SillyLoocie;6696974]Well hello everyone. I've been a busy Loocie. I was admitted to hospital this week for rest & a few tests. I am feeling much better now as I can breathe easily.
Life is one of those things folks.
Anyone been to Port Carling.
Sorry you've been through this Loocie and hope you're back home again now that you're feeling better.
Hope the tests weren't too difficult as you had no time to study!
glad you're feeling better loocie :flowers:

Really glad you are feeling better Loocie.:flowers::)
Good afternoon, everyone. :)
Still under the weather, but at least I have an appetite for something other than ginger ale and crackers. ;)
A friend of mine is moving this week, so we have babysitting duties. Lily dog happily checked out their treats, but was oblivious to the new critters. Quincy cat, otoh, well, this picture speaks tells the tale.

Not to worry, he gave up any notion of getting up close and personal once the goldfish gave him a dirty look.
Better get going and make dinner for everyone. At 5 critters to 1 human, I think I have to be on my toes. Good thing 3 of the critters can't escape their homes (I hope!). ;)
Hope everyone has a lovely evening. :)
Made it back from Kingston okay. First pic is me in a typical cell, got out after a bit luckily!!! The next pic shows an older cell from years ago where you could just lie on a single mattress and that's it - very small! Things improved later and the cells looked like this - enough room for a desk and your bed on top, toilet at back and you could walk a few steps in between. Sorry they posted sideways! This is the way they stayed. Solitary wing is next pic.
The tour was very informative, about 4 or 5 retired guards gave talks in different areas. The cells were all laid out in a circle around this hub on 4 floors. This hub was built years after the big riot in '71. A guard would be in there with a gun to intimidate the prisoners if they left their cell to go to "work" or whatever. The next pic shows where they went to learn different trades and to work for some money.
