Ford Workers Ratify Deal

Unionized workers at Ford's Canadian operations have accepted a new contract with the automaker. Unifor, which represents some 67-hundred workers at Ford, says the deal includes two wage hikes of 2% over four years, and signing bonuses that total 12-thousand dollars over the term of the contract.

The FBI Director reviewing newly discovered emails involving Hillary Clinton, says the review has ended and she should not face charges. In a letter to Congress Sunday, James Comey writes the bureau has not changed its conclusion from earlier this summer.

TFC With Lop-Sided Win in New York

It will be an all-Canadian match-up for Major League Soccer's Eastern Conference championship. Toronto FC downed NYC FC 5-nil at Yankee Stadium last night to take the two-game series 7-nil on aggregate. Earlier, the Montreal Impact topped the New York Red Bulls 2-1 for a 3-1 aggregate win.

Looks like I have a lot to catch up on.

A lot's happened lately;
* I went to a friend's cottage for a couple of days
* had a relapse, & ended back in the hospital for a couple of days
* one of my friend's husband had been been in a bad accident & was coming home; went to her place for a couple of days to get things set up, and help get him settled the first day
* have been working hard on that fundraising auction, which is coming up this coming Saturday; I've collected almost $17,000. in donations so far, with 4 more to collect this week (boy, I'll be glad when it's over !!!!)
* and finally, my son's 5 year old dog, Tank, had to be put down last Wed.
Geez I loved that dog Rest in peace Tank; we'll miss you. (Here's his pic.)
