Not a fan of tunnels either....not much to see.

The Big Walker Mountain Tunnel is a vehicular tunnel in the Appalachian Mountains of Southwest Virginia that carries Interstate 77through/under Big Walker Mountain.

The 4,229-foot (1,288 m) tunnel was first opened in 1972 after five years of construction labor. It carried a price tag of $50 million.

Great day today, wish I had of got down to the beach earlier but it was nice while it lasted!

Rocking and rolling to lots of old Beatles tunes - bought this double CD "Live at the BBC" the other day, it's got lots of tunes on it, some I haven't heard them do! Bought it used and it was an extra 20% off because of Black Friday, it's in great shape. They are timeless! Did anyone see the new Ron Howard film Eight Days a Week? It was on the tube the other week so I taped it......great film of their touring years and all the craziness!

I remember going through the one in Virginia years ago coming home from Florida, and it didn't bother me back then, but I find them claustrophobic now. Hubby doesn't really like bridges (although he's getting better with them) so we used to take the tunnel to the US going through Windsor / Detroit... I didn't like seeing all of the drips and water on the road... :rolleyes:

I think I would have a hard time going 24km through the one in Norway....

Hi all.
I took Jake to the park, & the dandelions are all blooming again.
Even my crocuses are back up. So warm for November.

My DS & DIL just left. They came over to put up my tree. :)
I guess I'll start decorating tomorrow if I have some time.
